View our Yarridge Heights development of 20 static caravan sites at Hexham Racecourse Holiday Park. We are situated just to the south of the historic market town of Hexham.
A quiet rural site with panoramic south-facing views over Northumberland, Durham Moors and the North Pennines. We look over the quietest, wildest parts of England that remain to be explored by car, foot or cycle. You can enjoy the solitude, join a group to hike the moors or just sit back and relax in your surroundings, with the wildlife and ever changing views. Enjoy the big skies with fabulous sunrises and sunsets during the day and the darkest skies in England for stargazing at night.
The history of Hexham Abbey dates back to 673AD and the old Gaol across the market place is the oldest prison in England. Hexham has witnessed many battles and skirmishes from the Vikings to the Border Raiders but is now a peaceful place with many good places to eat. There is a Theatre complex with a library, Cinema and the Leisure centre with its large indoor pool, bowling alley, classes, and running track.
The pretty village of Corbridge is only five miles away with the Roman Barracks of Corstopitum, excellent restaurants, lovely boutique shops and beautiful walks along the river.
