Hexham Racecourse is a quiet, rural site situated South of Hexham with panoramic views, a modern shower block and a small play area for children.

Situated just two miles South of Hexham, the site provides an ideal base for exploring the ancient market town. With it’s magnificent Abbey founded in 674AD, Moothall, Old Gaol and Market Place, there is also the more modern Queen’s Hall which houses the library, art gallery and theatre. Hexham has a cinema and many independent shops, restaurants and bars located around the town. The leisure centre has a large indoor pool, gym, bowling alley, running track and numerous classes.

The holiday park looks over Northumberland, the Durham Moors and the North Pennines some of the quietest, wildest parts of England. The big skies are everchanging and have fabulous sunrises and sunsets and at night the darkest skies in England for stargazing.

Northumberland’s National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian’s Wall, with its visitor centre at The Sill, many forts and places of interest are nearby. Lovely Corbridge with the Roman site of Corstopitum, boutique shops and restaurants is only 5 miles away. Our Holiday Park is ideal for those who enjoy cycling, hiking, walking and the outdoors, with no shortage of things to do.

Discounted admission to the races is offered to anyone staying on the park during a race meeting and under 18's are allowed in free provided they are accompanied by an adult.

Tariffs:

• Mobile homes and Touring Caravans £22.00 per pitch per night (inclusive of electrics)
• Tents with up to 3 persons £22.00 per night. (electricity subject to availability)
• Tents with 4 or more persons £27.00 per night (electricity subject to availability)

Hexham Racecourse Caravan and Camping site situated right next to the racetrack.

Hadrian's Wall is nearby for walking or exploring the forts. Vindolanda has a dig each summer where you can watch new Roman artefacts emerge while the children play in the fort.

On racedays you can watch the racing from your caravan or buy discounted tickets for the racecourse.
