The Lodge is located at the entrance to the Racecourse, our self catering lodge sleeps six people with three twin bedrooms, two shower rooms, kitchen, sitting room and a patio with a background of magnificent scenery to both the North and South. All on one level and comfortably furnished throughout, the lodge allows guests to relax and enjoy their holidays.

Walk, hike, explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hadrians Wall and the visitor centre at The Sill, the Roman Army Museum at Walltown and Housesteads Fort. Visit Vindolanda and watch a dig while the children play in the fort. The Roman Fort of Corstopitum at Corbridge houses one of the most significant finds in Roman History.
The Racecourse Lodge is the perfect base to explore Hexham with its Medieval Abbey, Moot Hall, Market Place and cobbles. Hexham has many places to eat, little boutique shops, cinema, theatre and large leisure centre with indoor pool, ten pin bowling, gym, classes and running track. Corbridge five miles away is a charming village with some lovely shops and excellent restaurants and very pleasant walks along the river.
Wonderful opportunities to walk and cycle from your door with many solo walks or you can book accompanied walks from The Sill, Hexham Racecourse is surrounded by the moors and wide open spaces of some of the last wilderness areas in England.
