The first of three selections comes in the Maiden Hurdle at 1:05 where Prince Phil (7/2) can build on a promising Bumper debut at Ayr in February and this looks a winnable race on his first start over hurdles. He was a bit keen but showed promise on debut and is effective at two miles and will get his preferred heavy ground which boosts his chances.
In the Handicap Hurdle at 1:42, My My My Delilah (13/2) will need to bounce back from unseating her rider last time out with connections hoping a first time tongue-tie can help her performance. She is effective over two miles and the ground has come right for her and she is on a fair mark where she can certainly be competitive.
Shighness (14/1) can go one better in the Handicap Chase at 3:02 after finishing second in this race last year off 7lb higher and was showing signs she is coming back to form back over hurdles after finishing third in a Handicap Hurdle at Sedgefield on her most recent run. Effective at three miles and suited by cut in the ground, she can outrun her odds.
