The Horse Comes First

Horse welfare is at the very heart of British Horseracing. It is the first priority of all those involved in the sport because without healthy, happy and motivated horses to participate in races, there is no sport.

The Horse Comes First campaign is an industry wide initiative that aims to demonstrate to the public that the industry never stops striving for welfare improvements, including after horses have retired. NB: If you can't view the video below please click here to watch it on You Tube.
